Football Shirt Framing
We also have a sport / football / rugby shirt framing service, 
please click on the framing examples link to see past framing images. Framing price is dependent on size but is usually between £80 - £100. Please be aware that due to the extra care needed sewing and placing your shirt and finally framing it. The shirt framing service takes 10 - 14 days
Canvas Stretching
We can also stretch canvas onto pine frames, 
max size about 4' x 5' ft or 1.2m x 1.5m. Depth can be 18mm, 33mm or 45mm. Our stretcher frames do not have wooden pegs in the corners 
that will loosen over time and need retensioning, our stretcher frames are underpinned at the corners and are of a solid construction. The canvas is then stetched onto the pine frame using wide flat canvas stretching grips 
and pinned in the correct sequence. Many people are providing a canvas printing service today but also providing a poor canvas stretching service, you can trust us at Macdonald Picture Framing to give you a professionally stretched canvas.
MADE IN SCOTLAND
All custom frame making is carried out on the premises in Candlemaker Row near the Grassmarket. Most custom framing requests can take around a week to complete, sometimes we can offer same day service so please ask!
Framing accessories
As well as mouldings we stock mountboard from budget standard grade (cream core) to acid free (white core) 2mm mdf, mdf strut backs, hardware, d-rings, double d-rings, picture cord, picture wire. All 2mm picture glass, 2mm mdf & mountboard cut to your required size.
Floater / Box Frames
Our floating or box frames in black, white & charcoal are very popular with students and 
artists for displaying oil on board or canvas art.
We can also supply window mounts, block mounts,
foam board mounting, dry mounting, float mounting.
